About this opportunity:
At Ericsson, we invite you to join us in the role of Developer. This integral position offers the chance to engage directly in the development and maintenance of our robust portfolio of products and services. You will focus on ensuring that our radio products meet global regulatory requirements and can be successfully launched in markets worldwide. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of regulatory activities across the full product lifecycle and work closely with cross-functional teams to secure compliant, high-quality product releases.
What you will do:
- Lead and secure compliance of radio products with global regulatory standards (e.g. ETSI, FCC, IC, RED) to enable successful market access.
- Take end-to-end ownership of regulatory activities throughout the product lifecycle, from early development through product release and maintenance.
- Define, plan, and drive regulatory test strategies, including EMC, RF, safety, and energy efficiency validation.
- Coordinate and follow up certification activities with external test houses and notified bodies, including test planning, issue resolution, and formal approvals.
- Prepare, review, and maintain regulatory documentation to support product certifications and audits.
- Collaborate closely with Design, System, verification and other stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into executable validation plans and release criteria.
- Identify regulatory risks and issues early, propose mitigations, and drive corrective actions to closure.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of radio systems and regulatory domains, including EMC, RF compliance, safety, and energy efficiency.
- Familiarity with global regulatory standards and certification processes for telecom / wireless products, especially ETSI, FCC, RED (and related regional requirements).
- Hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, verification, or testing within the wireless or telecom industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex requirements and propose practical solutions.
- Effective communication skills, able to work with global and cross-functional teams and align multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset, with attention to detail and a high focus on product quality and compliance.
