Department

You will be part of the procurement support team in Service business line.

Role

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our Global Expediting team as an Expediting specialist.  They will be responsible to follow up with supplier delivery in accordance with the PO / Contract to enable that FLSmidth can keep the delivery to end clients as agreed.

Your responsibilities

• ​Understand the scope of Purchase order and track order acknowledgment.
• Keep contact and follow up with suppliers and track the purchase orders are delivered on time.
• Obtain manufacturing schedule / Microsoft Project and progress reports from supplier and ensure the progress
• Update the progress status and maintain expediting report on weekly basis
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders for various documentations like Inspection report, Packing list, and shipment documents
• Preparation of packing list, follow up of delivery note & booking goods receipt.

What you bring

• Understanding of technical specification & drawings in purchase orders.
• Knowledge of data integration and understanding of ERP.
• Techno-commercial knowledge.
• Bought out equipment knowledge would be an added advantage.

Education Qualification

Bachelor’s Engineering degree from a reputed University, specializing in Mechanical will be preferred.

Experience

3 - 5 years' experience in a Procurement / Expediting.
