Job Description

Fugro is seeking an experienced and highly organized Expeditor to join our EUAF Procurement & Supply Chain team. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials, components, and products to meet production schedules and customer demands. Further this position plays a key role in chasing our suppliers to improve our P2P process. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This position is based in our Nootdorp Office

Your Role

• Communication and Coordination: Effective communication with internal teams, suppliers, and freight carriers to resolve issues and minimize delays. Collaboration with purchasing, production, and logistics teams to enhance supply chain efficiency.

• Tracking and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of orders, shipments, and delivery schedules. Engaging with suppliers to address the quality of delivered goods or services.

• Problem Solving and Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to streamline operations. Ensuring timely supplier communication and delivery of goods and services. Supporting the goods receipting process to enhance the procure-to-pay cycle.

• Order Management: Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, components, and products. Monitoring inventory levels and anticipating potential shortages or delays. Expediting orders and monitoring deliveries to uphold schedule adherence.

Requirements

• You are fluent in both Dutch and English.

• You have higher vocational education in a related field or are working towards a qualification.

• You have proven experience as an expeditor or in a similar role, preferably with a minimum of 2 years in a multinational company.

• Your have strong organisational and time-management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.

• You work well independently and as part of a team.
