Job Summary

Our client is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Exhibition Sales Executive to drive exhibitor sales for exhibitions, trade fairs, expos, conferences, and other events across Tanzania. The ideal candidate will have proven experience selling exhibition space, sponsorship packages, and event participation, as well as an established network of exhibitors and corporate clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing exhibitors, and consistently achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities
  • Sell exhibition booths, sponsorship packages, and related event opportunities.
  • Identify and acquire new exhibitors for upcoming events.
  • Leverage an existing database of exhibitors and corporate clients to generate sales.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, and business partners.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close sales.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and event-specific sales targets.
  • Work closely with the event management team to ensure exhibitors' requirements are met.
  • Follow up with prospective clients and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions.


Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in exhibition sales, event sales, sponsorship sales, or business development.
  • Demonstrated experience organizing or selling exhibition space for trade fairs, expos, conferences, or corporate events in Tanzania.
  • Must possess an existing database of exhibitors, corporate clients, and industry contacts that can be leveraged for business development.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the Tanzanian events and exhibitions industry.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business development and client relationship management abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong networking and prospecting skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driving licence is an added advantage.
