The Executive Vice President of Sales is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, shaping sales strategy, and leading senior sales leaders across all U.S. franchises. This position plays a critical role in fostering a culture of accountability, customer focus, continuous learning, and collaborative leadership. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional business results.Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the U.S. sales strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth through innovative sales approaches and market expansion.
- Partner with executive leadership to influence business direction and priorities.
- Define and articulate clear vision and expectations while holding individuals accountable.
Team Development & Leadership
- Lead and mentor senior sales leaders across U.S. divisions to achieve organizational goals and deliver exceptional results.
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
- Provide strategic guidance and coaching to empower leaders in driving performance and foster high-performing teams.
Customer Focus & Market Insight
- Champion a customer-centric approach across all sales activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with marketing, strategic account, pricing, and product management teams to enhance value propositions.
Operational Excellence
- Establish clear sales objectives, quotas, and performance metrics.
- Implement accurate forecasting processes and manage the sales pipeline for predictable growth.
- Ensure compliance with pricing strategies, contract terms, and company policies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product development, finance, and operations to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Drive adoption of CRM systems and sales enablement tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Account Management
- Lead negotiations and manage relationships with key physician thought leaders, major clients, and strategic partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally in the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading large, multi-region sales teams.
- Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to foster collaboration and influence at all organizational levels.
- Extensive sales experience and knowledge of medical device industry and ability to evaluate markets based on the customers’ needs and wants
