Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Functional (job responsibilities)
Handle and review trade finance applications and their supporting documents, confirming they meet all regulatory, policy, and product standards according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Authenticate, sanction, and, when necessary, override transactions within various systems (like TE2000, Intranet, IV2, TSW), adhering to designated authority limits.
Secure necessary approvals from the relevant Department Personnel (DPs) or correct any inconsistencies or errors identified.
Verify, approve/authorize and sign documents such as letters, documents, forms, draft, guarantees, endorsement of BL/AWB on behalf of the Bank.
Conduct trade-related checks or audits for financing purposes, using a summary list of invoices, either at the customer's location or off-site.
Tracking and monitoring for payments of outstanding bills and past due bills (PDBs).
Carry out daily, monthly, or other regular reconciliations and balancing activities to ensure that all transactions, documents, General Ledgers (GLs), and physical bills are accurate and accounted for.
