Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the team as an Executive ‐ Technical ‐ Operations. This role will enable you to ensure to provide technical advice/ guidance to Method Study Technicians and Method Study Sample Operators to develop the most effective sewing methods whilst also, ensuring quality requirements are met thereby, facilitating the production process.
Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze buyer sketches and samples, coordinate technical sample development, and provide guidance on garment construction, pattern grading, packing methods, critical operations, and production requirements to ensure efficient bulk production according to buyer expectations.
  • Assist in the technical sample development process by providing support on pattern modifications, fit corrections, and sample approvals to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct a random check on garments during the bulk production process to ensure achievement of the required quality standards of the end product.
  • Attend pre-production and start-up meetings to provide timely technical input on fabric specifications for bulk orders, discuss quality requirements and handling methods, and support issue resolution during bulk production.
  • Establish and maintain relationships, handle discipline and grievances and motivate team in order to foster a harmonious working environment.
  • Inspect size-wise pilot run samples and provide technical feedback on cutting and pattern issues, SMV achievement, and sample measurements, construction, appearance, and trim usage to support necessary adjustments for bulk production.
  • Ensure compliance with the governance framework by upholding MAS DNA, adhering to company and group policies and procedures, following best practices where applicable, and complying with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the environmental, safety, and health standards while actively promoting a culture of safety and environmental awareness within and outside the organization.
  • Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.
     

Qualifications 

  • Degree/ National Diploma in Textile from a relevant institute.
  • 2 ‐ 3 years of work experience in Production/ Work‐Study.
  • Sound technical knowledge and sewing skills will be considered an added advantage.
