Executive ‐ Technical - Operations

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to provide technical advice, guidance to the method study and QCO teams in order to develop the most effective sewing methods whilst, ensuring quality requirements are met thereby, facilitating the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in style briefings to assess style feasibility, construction methods, measurement tolerances, and sample development requirements.
Conduct FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) during the style development stage to identify potential risks.
Analyze pre-production samples, identify technical and production issues, and recommend preventive actions before bulk production.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of style documentation, including tech packs, trim cards, BOMs, and specifications.
Develop effective sewing methods and collaborate with the IE team to establish standard work procedures for new styles.
Participate in start-up meetings and address cut-related and production readiness concerns.
Prepare and review Test Cut Feedback (size sets) to ensure readiness for bulk production.
Measure and compare samples against patterns, prepare technical reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Follow up on pattern and specification changes, coordinating with PDC and CAD teams to resolve issues.
Rework and validate samples when required to ensure compliance with technical specifications and customer requirements.
Lead internal pre-production meetings and communicate critical style, quality, technical, and trim-related information to production teams.
Coordinate machine pre-settings and operator training activities prior to production commencement.
Monitor line feeding activities to ensure achievement of quality, efficiency, and production targets.
Track and improve Quick Changeover (QCO) performance, first three-day efficiency, and First Time Through (FTT) results.
Prepare line feeding sheets and support smooth style changeovers with minimal disruption to production.
Analyze production issues, including trim overconsumption and technical challenges, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical, cutting, pattern, and consumption-related issues and ensure uninterrupted operations.
Ensure the durability and quality of heat sealing and bonding processes through wash testing and process optimization.
Drive innovation initiatives through I-Club activities and participation in monthly divisional innovation forums.
Benchmark best practices through plant visits and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, health and safety requirements, quality standards, 5S practices, and Manufacturing Operating System (MOS) initiatives.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Degree in Textile Engineering.
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the same capacity.
- Good IT skills.
