Job Summary:
We're searching for a highly experienced Executive Recruiter to join our Global Talent Acquisition team. This role will spearhead the sourcing of senior leadership candidates across the US, with a primary focus on the tech, information services, and data services sectors. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in both executive search firms and in-house recruiting, coupled with extensive knowledge of the US tech talent landscape. Responsibilities
- Create and Drive Best Practice
- Establish and drive best practices across the full recruiting process (intake through to placement) for both internal and external searches
- Ensure each senior search is set up with a considered search strategy, targeting relevant candidate pools in tech, information services and data services
- Develop and apply best practices in candidate screening and assessment, leveraging scorecards and JDs
- Collaborate closely with other members of the recruitment team to ensure seamless execution of hiring strategies and to share insights and best practices
- Third Party Management
- Build and manage relationships with talent providers, including search firms (retained and contingent) and professional networks.
- Evaluate and assess talent partners using a common framework
- Manage contract negotiations and drive standardization/preferred agreements with key firms as appropriate
- Process Management
- Assess candidates against agreed scorecard
- Where appropriate, manage candidates through the process, providing them with timely feedback and updates and develop a rapport
- Manage process with internal stakeholders, ensuring process runs smoothly and feedback is gathered and provided to the team at appropriate times
- Partner with hiring managers, HRBPs (and sponsors when needed) to navigate complex offer negotiations and compensation structures
- Oversee third party referencing and background checks as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 7-10 years of combined experience in executive search firms and in-house recruiting for US tech (including information and data services) companies, with a corresponding track record of successful executive placements.
- Extensive knowledge of, and deep networks within, the US and global tech talent landscape, including major tech hubs like New York City and Silicon Valley.
- Advanced skills in deconstructing complex searches and developing creative sourcing strategies to uncover non-obvious talent pools
- Highly adept at screening candidates and assessing fit relative to the scorecard/JD.
- Strong candidate and client management skills, including a proven ability to effectively partner with C-suite executives.
- Solid networks with talent providers, and has evaluated and articulated the expertise of search firms.
- In-depth understanding of search firm contracting and management.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand the nuances of various tech and data companies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Experience recruiting for roles across various US locations.
- Track record of building diverse talent pipelines.
- Familiarity with the talent ecosystem in both multinational and US-based tech companies.
- Proficiency in the latest recruitment technologies and methodologies.

A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be $66,000 - $225,000 which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location. The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications and other business requirements/needs.
