Job purpose
Work within the framework of DP World SCO’ corporate plan as directed by the PFT Head. The Executive of Operations is a key leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, planning, and execution of operational activities within the organization. This position requires a strong blend of leadership, management, and operational expertise to drive performance and achieve business objectives. The Senior Executive of Operations will collaborate with other senior leaders to develop and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency, optimize resources, and support overall business growth.
Key responsibilities
• Invoice daily Terminal operations & Rail & Steel to be completed on time.
• Support the BU Head in the preparation and presentation of reports, proposals, budgets and related activities in servicing and developing contracts and relationships with stakeholders and partners.
• Providing solution to resolve customer’s issues, cost reduction, improvement of operational efficiency.
• Identify, develop and rationalize key issues and concerns as well as agenda for DP World to leverage access to industry platforms and Govt.
• Support the BU Head in the preparation of all documentation required for key decision making as required.
• Follow up and co-ordination with internal teams and Business Units.
• Maintaining confidentiality for the Terminal Operations.
• Assist in project planning and management by providing insights into timelines, resource requirements, and potential risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and HR, to align operational activities with overall business objectives. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and external partners to provide updates, solicit feedback, and address concerns.
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and digital solutions to enhance rail operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to stay abreast of advancements that may benefit the organization.
• To follow safety and security norms of the company strictly and its implementation on the ground.
Qualifications & competencies
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques.
• Stakeholder management.
• Adaptability and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
