We're searching for an innovative and strategic Executive Producer to lead the charge in our next phase of growth marketing. As an expert in production and delivery, you will manage a vertical business focused on delivering campaigns on a global scale. You'll manage projects and workflows within our multidisciplinary team, ensuring the highest quality creative, strategic, and delivery output.

What You'll Do

  • Confidently and autonomously lead our most complex projects successfully, ensuring the work exceeds expectations. You are responsible for overall quality of service, and on-time, on-budget completion of deliverables across projects, reporting to the team Executive Director
  • Effectively lead projects at Instrument, including but not limited to: brand, communications, or scalable content 
  • Lead and maintain overall client relationships on assigned client groups, developing key relationships that position Instrument as a strategic advisor and innovation partner. Be a dynamic, honest, and trusted partner to your clients as the lead contact, thoughtfully collaborating with your Executive Director/Assoc. Executive Director and other producers on your team
  • Be a balanced advocate in the work for client goals and user needs while you champion the team’s vision
  • Create and sustain positive relationships and collaborations across client and project teams. Find the balance between you steering the work and empowering team members to do so
  • Assess if what we have created (in concept or execution) is the best, most innovative solution. Always push the team to get there
  • Lead projects and team members from the beginning to end of each project’s life cycle. Strategically involve team leaders and other team members at the optimal moments and levels for ultimate project success
  • Understand the financial implications of each project’s P&L. Ensure work is completed on budget and invoiced appropriately
  • Work with the team leads to properly plan awarded projects, accounting for all necessary details and ensuring a strong kickoff that will lead to the successful and timely project completion with a high level of satisfaction from both the team and the client
  • Monitor the health and happiness of project teams, proactively flagging, implementing measures, or taking action to adjust in response to any issues for optimal morale, in partnership with your Executive Director/Assoc. Executive Director and other leaders
  • Mentor and lead producers through Instrument’s methodology and best practices as assigned
  • Build and manage successful partnerships – both internally and with global localization teams
  • Maintain resourcing efficiency throughout the project lifecycle, minimizing down-time and ensuring people are involved at the appropriate times for project success. Help manage team resources, including partner vendors and freelancers, with clarity and efficiency
  • Develop and manage vendor contracts, ensuring alignment with project requirements
  • Approach your work with an open, flexible outlook and a focus on effective, respectful influence
  • Engage with a positive attitude and impactful presence within the larger team and clients to produce the best possible product and results
  • Be seen as an influential trusted advisor to the team and clients.
  • Maximize your time and output by thinking creatively: work smarter, not harder
  • Display a high level of emotional maturity and awareness, utilizing multiple styles of communication and influence to come to the best result for our clients and team

What You'll Bring

  • 7-9 years’ experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing projects and/or products, and owning enterprise-level client relationships in a digital and/or agency environment
  • Experience in growth / performance marketing at scale 
  • Expert creation and maintenance of iterative project and team management approaches and methods
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and win new business opportunities
  • Proven ability to train and mentor producers in effective and inclusive project management best practices
  • Tact, humility, common sense, and maturity in interacting with people at all levels, internally and externally—especially maintaining a calm confidence in challenging situations
  • Strategic thinking and creative problem solving approaches that don’t sacrifice attention to detail and outside input

Pay Range

  • The expected pay range for this position is $110,000-$135,000 for our base US Region 3*. We have three regional pay ranges that are adjusted for cost of living (US1 +15%, US2 +7.5%, US3 Base), learn more about our pay philosophy and cost of living adjustments
