The opportunity
The incumbent is part of actuarial pricing department, mainly responsible for the areas described below:
Responsibilities
- Performing custom pricing on special quotation requests using actuarial software.
- Making financial assessment and recommendation for a pricing offer which optimizes premium competitiveness and company profitability/risks.
- Support policy servicing requests such as post-sales illustrations, etc.
- Build and update pricing models used for custom pricing using Excel or AXIS.
- Perform peer review of team's pricing models and support UAT testing.
- Ad-hoc pricing tasks as assigned (e.g. to support product pricing, channel compensation review, dummy risk analysis etc.)

This role reports pricing manager. The role will contribute custom product pricing, policy servicing and other actuarial pricing projects.

What we are looking for
- Good progress on actuarial exams
- Fresh graduates welcomed to apply
- Good knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, Power Point)
- Team player oriented as well as able to work independently
- Knowledge of AXIS software is asset
