Executive – Planning
(Based at Silueta, Biyagama)

Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the Silueta team as an Executive – Planning. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to reserve production capacity based on the customer demand and prepare production plan while ensuring optimum utilization of resources to meet on time delivery of garments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate with marketing team to obtain customer demand and reserve plant capacity. Then prepare detail plan accordingly to meet on time delivery of goods to the customer.
Attend to operation, purchasing, production meetings and discuss / verify production related issues and determine the effective solution, make sure detail plan is secured for two weeks.
Communicate with PDC, IE, MQA, production and obtain relevant information to fulfil requirements which need to prepare loading plan and detail plan.
Prepare and update reports / documents / set preproduction schedule/ SAP systems in order to facilitate production operations, management decision making.
Review and analyse actual production against plan and inform relevant personal about significant deviations in order to ensure corrective action is taken immediately to achieve delivery targets.
- Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Degree in Engineering / Physical Science (Mathematics Stream).
- 2 years of work experience in a similar field.
Knowledge in production functions / capacities / processes.
Mathematical and statistical background and analytical skills.
Skills Required
- Degree in Engineering or Physical Science (Mathematics stream)
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar production/planning role
- Knowledge of production functions, capacities and processes
- Mathematical and statistical background with strong analytical skills
- Experience updating and using SAP systems for production planning
- Ability to coordinate cross-functionally (marketing, PDC, IE, MQA, production)
