EXECUTIVE – VESSEL OPERATIONS
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with the Principal’s office, Vessel Master, Terminal, and relevant authorities to secure berthing arrangements.
- Board vessels to liaise effectively with vessel command and authorities for vessel clearance.
- Closely monitoring cargo operations to ensure quick vessel turnaround within minimum possible time.
- Coordinate with relevant personnel to arrange and deliver husbanding services promptly.
- Ensure timely system updates and respond to inquiries for smooth cargo operations.
- Provide timely vessel status and operational reports to the Principal and to the management.
- Prepare and submit accurate Inward and Outward declarations in a timely manner.
- Contribute positively towards achieving Principal and Company KPIs, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of all related activities.
- Verify vendor invoices for accuracy and submit them on time for processing.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 6 ‘Credit’ passes at the GCE O/L examination including Mathematics and English.
- A minimum of 3 passes at the GCE A/L examination.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a related industry would be an added advantage.
- Good command of English both written and verbal.
- Sound knowledge on Microsoft Office packages.
