About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Executive Operations Coordinator to support our E-commerce Executive/Director in driving business operations, client management, and project organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for e-commerce, an interest in Shopify and user experience, and a desire to grow within the field. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, stay on top of tasks, and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizational Support:
- Ensure the Executive stays on track with tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups.
- Organize and manage client and project workflows to maintain smooth operations.
- Create and maintain an effective task management system to support the team.
- Meeting Coordination & Follow-Up:
- Attend client and internal calls, take detailed notes, and identify action items.
- Draft and send follow-up emails to clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain agendas and track decisions or commitments for follow-through.
- E-commerce Learning & Development:
- Develop an understanding of e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify.
- Gain exposure to e-commerce best practices, including user experience (UX) design and content management.
- Shopify Theme Building:
- Learn the basics of Shopify theme building, configuration, and management.
- Assist in content updates, simple edits, and improving the user experience for e-commerce sites.
- Career Growth:
- Show a genuine interest in learning and contributing to the e-commerce industry.
- Take ownership of personal and professional development with the goal of growing into larger roles within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Experience in administrative or assistant roles, preferably in e-commerce, digital marketing, or technology sectors.
- Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented, with a knack for ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Comfortable using digital tools like Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, or similar platforms.
- Technical Aptitude:
- Interest or prior experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
- Eagerness to learn Shopify theme building and UX design.
- Personal Traits:
- Self-starter who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Passionate about e-commerce, technology, and digital trends.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative.
