The School of Creative Arts (SCA), comprised of three well-established academic units: the Academy of Film, the Academy of Music, and the Academy of Visual Arts. Established on July 1, 2022, SCA is dedicated to nurturing future-ready talents for Hong Kong and beyond, while making a significant impact on society through innovative research and transdisciplinary studies.

Jockey Club Campus of Creativity (JC3) is a vibrant, interdisciplinary space dedicated to the exploration of music and sound. JC3 is seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Officer to support the operational execution, weekend programme logistics, and curriculum resource management for its music education initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with the project team to assist in class scheduling, handle general document processing and stakeholder coordination, and ensure the seamless execution of project activities and community-facing programmes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support to the planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities, with a focus on JC Project MuSE instrumental development initiatives;
  • Lead the weekly logistics and coordination arrangements for the weekend programme;
  • Prepare and manage class schedules, and handle day-to-day project-related correspondence and enquiries; 
  • Build relationships and act as a key point of contact for participating schools, music instructors, students, and parents; 
  • Handle general clerical duties and document processing, including data entry, filing, document formatting, and maintaining accurate project records;
  • Support the organisation and coordination of meetings, workshops, camps, and special events; and 
  • Perform any other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree; preferably in Music, Music Education, Arts Management, or a related cultural discipline;
  • Proven experience in administration, operations, or managing logistics, ideally within the arts or education sector;
  • Prior experience in stakeholder engagement, particularly in communicating and dealing with parents;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin); 
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage Saturday operations independently; 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic digital tools for resource mapping; and 
  • Experience in project development and event management is an added advantage.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. 

Preference will be given to those who are immediately available. 

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Skills Required
