We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will play an important role in the management of the General Ledger (GL), ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) reporting requirements. The candidate will also handle various other financial tasks and projects as required.
Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger (GL) Management:
- Assist in GL governance and maintenance.
- Upload journal files from outsourced fund accounting.
- Assist in accounts payable (AP) entries in Ledger.
- Assist in Maintaining the Chart of Accounts (COA).
- Assist users in troubleshooting GL related issues.
- Housekeep files on SharePoint.
- Prepare and post month-end journals.
- Reconcile monthly investment accounts.
- Address ad-hoc financial requests as necessary.
Regulatory Reporting:
- Prepare and submit monthly/ Quarterly/Year-end Bank Negara statistical returns, including preparation of relevant sub-schedules and workings prepared in compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia reporting standards.
- Compile and submit monthly Bank Negara Month-over-Month (MoM) analytical review of results.
- Submit Insurance Services Malaysia (ISM) reconciliation (FTDC and BNMT).
- Assist with BNM queries.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly Management Influenced Entity - PruBSN Prihatin (PP) management accounts.
- Conduct financial health assessments for vendors.
- Provide support to auditors as required.
- Liaise with the Tax Team on tax-related queries.
- Manage dividend vouchers provided by fund manager.
- Assist in finance projects such as accounting system upgrades.
