JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assists Team Leader in planning and administration of reviews.
• Assists Team Leader in preliminary work.
• Review and carry out tests based on review programmes to assess the effectiveness of the client's internal control systems.
• Establish facts and conduct adequate testing on source documents and procedures by referring to all relevant standards, policies, procedures, instructions and other guidelines relevant to the review.
• Identify causes of lapses and weaknesses in business processes by analyzing possible solutions or avenues for improvements.
• Assists Team Leader in entrance and exit meetings for management acceptance on review scope and recommendations.
• Maintain proper working papers and ensure adequate documentation to support review work, including the using TeamMate.
• Assists in drafting the audit report for the Team Leader's review and carrying out any other work assignment requested by superiors.
• Document time and expenses for the review.
• Conduct special investigations and other assignments, as and when necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant tertiary education (minimum bachelor's degree) in accounting or other related fields.
• Entry level, fresh graduate will be considered.
• 1 to 2 years' experience in internal/external audit function is an advantage.
• Professional qualification is an added value (CIA, MIA, IIA, ACCA, etc.).
• Results and quality driven, team player with excellent communication skills (both speaking and writing).
