Job Description
Executive - FinanceTo ensure efficient commercial operations by managing sales order processing, pricing administration, claims verification, receivables management, account reconciliation, financial process improvements, and cross-functional coordination to support business objectives and maintain financial discipline.
1. Sales Order Management
Ensure timely release of sales orders on all working days, including Saturdays.
Verify pricing accuracy before order release to support achievement of sales targets.
Coordinate with sales and supply chain teams to resolve order-related issues promptly.
2. Pricing & MRP Administration
Maintain a clear understanding of company pricing structures and policies.
Upload and update pricing and MRP changes in SAP accurately and within defined timelines.
Ensure consistency and accuracy of pricing data across all channels.
3. Distributor Claims Verification
Review and validate distributor claims as per company policies and approved schemes.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for claim approvals and settlements.
Maintain proper documentation and records of claims processed.
4. Receivables & Overdue Management
Prepare overdue reports and monitor outstanding receivables.
Follow up with customers and stakeholders to ensure timely collection of payments.
Track payment status and ensure overdue balances are cleared as per collection plans.
Escalate critical cases to management when required.
5. Customer Account Reconciliation
Conduct quarterly reconciliation of customer accounts and key account chains.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in customer ledgers.
Obtain balance confirmations from customers and maintain proper records.
6. Financial Controls, Policies & Automation
Review existing financial processes and policies periodically.
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
Implement approved automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and reporting accuracy.
Support adherence to internal controls and financial governance standards.
7. Bayer Claims Reimbursement Coordination
Coordinate with the Bayer team for quarterly claim reimbursement finalization.
Ensure timely submission, verification, and closure of reimbursement claims.
Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
8. Credit Note Management
Raise Credit Notes (CN) as required based on approved claims, adjustments, and commercial agreements.
Ensure timely processing and accurate accounting of credit notes.
9. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Supply Chain teams and CFAs to resolve operational and commercial queries.
Support business continuity through effective stakeholder management and communication.
10. MIS Reporting & Business Insights
Prepare and share periodic reports and data with management.
Analyze commercial and financial data to provide actionable insights.
Support decision-making through timely and accurate reporting
