The Impact you will have in this role:

The Development family is responsible for creating, designing, deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and software solutions. May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm. The software development process requires in-depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages. Software Developers work closely with business partners and / or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions.

The Executive Director, Software Engineering role specializes in planning, documenting technical requirements, designing, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm. Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and enhancement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that solve complex business problems.

Your Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Excellent knowledge of and experience in developing and maintaining API Platforms, Low code/No Code Platforms, AI Solutions, Customer Relationship Management and Business Process Management solutions.
  • Experience designing and delivering solutions for Financial Institutions, Service Providers and Bureau’s.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact from a Technology standpoint for all stakeholders including lines of businesses and second line of defense.
  • Experience building sustainable and repeatable capabilities that support delivery of the highest standards of quality and execution.
  • Ability to liaise with clients to manage their requirements including understanding and contributing recommendations for change in requirements.
  • Responsible for build out of the technology solutions and managing IT assets
  • Develop and execute a clear vision and Technology strategy for API Platforms, Low code/No Code Platforms, and Business Process Management solutions that is aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Sets a clear-sighted vision of the future to achieve the organization’s desired market or business position; Describes how the vision for the organization’s future can be realized through tangible actions.
  • Drives a culture of motivation and commitment to the vision.
  • Adapts presentation and communication style to fit the audience.
