Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit an Executive Director Industrial Οperations Attica Sites to join our Industrial Operations team at our Pallini premises.

The Executive Director Industrial Operations Attica Sites leads and manages the day-to-day manufacturing site and associated warehousing infrastructure activities to support the growth of the company.

More particularly:

What you’ll do:

  • Provide strategic direction for the planning, development, and execution of manufacturing strategies across Attica sites, ensuring long‑term operational scalability and alignment with business growth objectives
  • Implement strategies for effective capacity planning to meet current and future production demands
  • Οversee Maintenance, Engineering, and Materials Management to ensure seamless integration of all functions
  • Develop and manage plant’s operating and capital expenses and headcount (as defined in the annual budget), ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability
  • Actively coordinate and participate in audits from clients and regulatory authorities
  • Lead manufacturing excellence by setting expectations, approving priorities, and sponsoring continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing cost, and improving product quality
  • Partner with Quality Assurance leadership to ensure robust quality systems, regulatory compliance, and continuous enhancement of product quality standards
  • Oversee Supply Chain team to achieve daily production requirements that meet or exceed demand and achieve most efficient use of all assets
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and requirements, collaborating with Regulatory Affairs to navigate regulatory challenges
  • Mentor, and develop site’s managers and team leaders to a high-performing operations team
  • Foster a collaborative professional growth


Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; MBA is Advantageous

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing Αἲ least 5 years of experience in leadership roles within pharmaceutical manufacturing

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
  • Proven track record of successful operational management and process improvement
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term planning and execution
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
