JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of this role is to
provide strategic direction and oversight to develop and
implement a comprehensive ICT/Modernisation strategy aligned with BURS'
strategic objectives. This role will also oversee the design and architecture
of ICT systems to ensure they meet the operational needs of BURS efficiently
and effectively.
KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop
and implement ICT strategies aligned with organisational objectives to drive
digital transformation and innovation.
Oversee
the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust ICT infrastructure to
ensure security, reliability, and scalability.
Lead
digital transformation initiatives to enhance service delivery and customer
experience through the adoption of modern technologies.
Establish
and enforce data governance policies and cybersecurity measures to protect
organisational data and ensure compliance with regulations.
Identify,
evaluate, and pilot emerging technologies to drive innovation and enhance
organisational efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage
ICT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on
time, within budget, and meet stakeholder expectations.
Collaborate
with internal and external stakeholders to understand technology needs, foster
partnerships, and align ICT initiatives with organisational goals.
Define
and monitor key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of ICT
initiatives and communicate outcomes to senior management.
Develop
change management strategies and provide training to facilitate the adoption of
new technologies and processes, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
Identify
and mitigate ICT risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
to safeguard organisational assets and data.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A Master’s
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. A
professional certification in IT Management or cybersecurity will be an added
advantage.
At least 10 years relevant work experience in IT and
digital transformation roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a management
capacity.
