A DAY IN A LIFE

At Teleport, we’re building toward IPO — and that means doing the boring things well. Execution, discipline, and follow-through matter as much as big ideas.

Your day will be varied, often crossing functions, but most of your time will focus on delivering trusted insights, building scalable reporting solutions, and helping stakeholders make better decisions through data. You will own analytical workstreams end-to-end, balancing stakeholder needs with strong analytical rigor while ensuring data remains accurate, reliable, and actionable.

Most of your time will be spent driving impact through:

Analytics & Insights: Partnering with stakeholders across Operations, Commercial, Product, Finance, and Customer teams to understand business problems, perform analyses, and deliver actionable insights that support business growth and operational excellence.

Dashboard Development & Reporting: Designing, developing, and maintaining Looker dashboards and reporting solutions that provide accurate visibility into key business metrics while promoting self-service analytics across the organization.

SQL & Data Transformation: Writing complex SQL queries and supporting data transformation initiatives to create reliable, business-ready datasets. You will work with BigQuery and modern analytics tooling to improve data accessibility and usability across the business.

Data Quality & Governance: Ensuring consistency, accuracy, and reliability of business metrics by identifying data quality issues, validating outputs, and collaborating with Data Engineering teams to strengthen data foundations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with Product, Data Engineering, and Business teams to translate requirements into analytical solutions and ensure successful delivery of high-impact initiatives.

Analytics Innovation: Supporting the evolution of Teleport’s analytics capabilities by exploring automation, AI-assisted analytics, and modern data tools that help move the organization beyond traditional reporting toward more intelligent decision-support systems.

REQUIREMENTS

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:

• 2–4 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or related roles, with a proven track record of delivering analytical solutions that drive business outcomes.

• Good to have advanced SQL skills with the ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries across large datasets. Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery is strongly preferred.

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards and reporting solutions using Looker or similar business intelligence platforms, with a strong understanding of KPI design, metric definitions, and data visualization best practices.

• Experience working with data transformation and modelling concepts, including tools such as Dataform, dbt, or equivalent modern analytics engineering frameworks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable analytical solutions and actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery and related analytics services, is highly desirable.

• Curiosity and enthusiasm for modern analytics, automation, AI-enabled insights, and the evolving role of data products in driving business value.
