Executive, Currency Mgt / Others Category & Strategic Sourcing, Centralised Procurement
Supports the Sourcing Manager to execute end-to-end sourcing and contract management activities to achieve the Bank’s procurement objectives, including cost savings/cost avoidance, timely contract renewals and compliance with pre-defined sourcing SLAs.
Responsibilities- Execute end-to-end sourcing activities (RFx development, supplier identification, bid evaluation and award recommendation) in line with pre-defined sourcing Service Level Agreement (SLAs), and in compliance with procurement policies and operational requirements.
- Conduct price negotiation with suppliers to achieve the optimum cost savings/cost avoidance whilst delivering the best value for money.
- Manage contract management activities (variations, renewals, termination, and contract write-up) to ensure timely contract renewals and mitigate contractual risk.
- Support the establishment of long-term agreements, empanelment agreements, strategic procurement contracts, product and services catalogues, and schedule of rates to enable strategic sourcing.
- Maintain a complete and organised repository of procurement documentation to ensure audit and compliance readiness.
- Conduct knowledge sharing on best sourcing and procurement practices to strengthen procurement awareness and capability across the department.
Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, IT/Computer Science, Operations Management or equivalent.
Experiences:
- At least 3 years’ working experience in related category management, strategic sourcing, or related area, e.g. Information Technology, Facility Management, Hospitality, Corporate Services, Banking Industry, Consultancy (where applicable).
- Familiarity with ERP or e-procurement systems (e.g. SAP Ariba, Oracle).
- Good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Good negotiation, contract management and supplier relationship skills.
