This role is central to keeping the leadership team running smoothly and the office operating effectively day to day. The Executive Assistant will be a trusted partner to the executives, managing calendars and logistics, supporting onboarding, and helping foster a positive, connected company culture.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scientific startup environment.

  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas when needed, and ensure clear follow-ups.
  • Draft, edit, and manage internal and external communications on behalf of executives.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Travel & Logistics

  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries and expense reporting.
  • Support ad hoc logistical needs for leadership as they arise.

Office Management

  • Support day-to-day office operations, helping ensure the office runs smoothly and is welcoming for employees and visitors.
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors on office-related needs (supplies, space coordination, events).

Onboarding & Team Support

  • Support onboarding of new hires, including scheduling, coordination with internal teams, and ensuring a smooth first-day experience.
  • Serve as a point of contact for new employees as they get oriented to the office and company.

Culture & Events

  • Help build and maintain a strong company culture by coordinating team events, celebrations, and offsites.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, contributing to an inclusive, collaborative, and positive work environment.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably in a startup, biotech, or fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and shifting demands.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional, discreet, and trusted with sensitive information.
  • Proactive and resourceful — you anticipate needs, take initiative, and exhibit extreme ownership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, collaborative working style; experience collaborating with other EAs on shared tasks.
  • Proficient in Outlook calendaring, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Slack, and Notion.
  • Able to work on-site in the Cambridge office most days to support executives and the team.
