Position Overview

Bain Capital is seeking a seasoned and professional Executive Assistant to join our Boston office on a full-time basis. This role will provide high-level administrative support to multiple senior investment professionals.

The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This individual will be proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player with a demonstrated ability to anticipate needs and operate with discretion

Responsibilities:

  • Heavy calendar management and coordination of all logistics for internal and external meetings

  • Management of travel arrangements, both domestic and international

  • Track high volume of business expenses and prepare expense reports

  • Support the team with planning and hosting meetings and events

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills; ability to interact with personnel at all levels across the firm, and comfortable working with many different types of personality

  • Provide backup coverage for other Executive Assistants as needed

  • Offer limited support for personal travel, mailings, reservations, and related tasks, as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 5+ years of administrative support in a corporate environment, ideally in the asset management or investment banking industries

  • Technologically adept and proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, real-time environment with shifting priorities

  • Detail-oriented and able to efficiently complete tasks within deadlines and manage multiple competing priorities

  • Extremely organized with a demonstrated ability to multitask effectively

  • Proactive, with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and follow-through

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships

  • Demonstrate discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information

  • Dedicated team player, demonstrated willingness to “go the extra mile”

Compensation:

Expected Annual Base Salary $95,000 - $110,000

Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team and firm performance.
