Position Overview
Bain Capital is seeking a seasoned and professional Executive Assistant to join our Boston office on a full-time basis. This role will provide high-level administrative support to multiple senior investment professionals.
The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This individual will be proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player with a demonstrated ability to anticipate needs and operate with discretion
Responsibilities:
Heavy calendar management and coordination of all logistics for internal and external meetings
Management of travel arrangements, both domestic and international
Track high volume of business expenses and prepare expense reports
Support the team with planning and hosting meetings and events
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills; ability to interact with personnel at all levels across the firm, and comfortable working with many different types of personality
Provide backup coverage for other Executive Assistants as needed
Offer limited support for personal travel, mailings, reservations, and related tasks, as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
5+ years of administrative support in a corporate environment, ideally in the asset management or investment banking industries
Technologically adept and proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, real-time environment with shifting priorities
Detail-oriented and able to efficiently complete tasks within deadlines and manage multiple competing priorities
Extremely organized with a demonstrated ability to multitask effectively
Proactive, with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and follow-through
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships
Demonstrate discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information
Dedicated team player, demonstrated willingness to “go the extra mile”
Compensation:
Expected Annual Base Salary $95,000 - $110,000
Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team and firm performance.
