About the Role:
Executive Assistant to President & Chief Growth Officer
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and business support to PURE’s President and Chief Growth Officer. This is an opportunity to work closely with senior leaders of a dynamic, growing organization and gain broad exposure to PURE’s business, people, broker partners, and strategic priorities.
We’re looking for someone who is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and energized by a fast-paced environment. Strong candidates will have experience expertly manage complex calendars and travel while supporting executive meetings, presentations, reporting, and other business priorities.
Success in this role requires excellent judgment, strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs before they become requests.
What You’ll Do:
Executive Support & Calendar Management
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to PURE’s President and Chief Growth Officer, serving as a trusted partner in managing day-to-day priorities.
- Proactively manage complex executive calendars, balancing competing priorities, resolving conflicts, and ensuring effective use of executive time.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings with senior executives, broker partners, business partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Prepare executives for upcoming meetings and commitments by coordinating agendas, materials, logistics, and relevant information.
- Draft and proofread emails and other executive communications as needed, exercising sound judgment and discretion.
Travel, Meetings & Events
- Coordinate domestic and occasional international travel, including transportation, accommodations, itineraries, dining, and related logistics.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely executive expense reports.
- Coordinate executive participation in industry conferences and events, including PURE’s activities at the annual CIAB Insurance Leadership Forum.
- Support leadership meetings, team offsites, broker and business-partner events, and other executive-sponsored gatherings, managing logistics from planning through execution.
Business & Team Support
- Run recurring and ad hoc reports using PURE’s business intelligence and reporting tools; training will be provided.
- Assist with reports, meeting materials, and executive-quality PowerPoint presentations for leadership discussions, 1x1s, and business reviews.
- Maintain organized files, templates, checklists, and processes while identifying opportunities to streamline recurring work and improve efficiency.
- Partner with colleagues supporting PURE’s White Plains office and the broader administrative team to support executive meetings, office events, and other priorities.
- Take on special projects and evolving responsibilities based on business needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of Executive Assistant or senior-level administrative experience supporting C-suite or senior executives in an established organization with multiple teams, stakeholders, and competing priorities.
- Proven experience managing complex executive calendars, travel, meetings, and events with a high degree of accuracy and discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong proofreading and professional correspondence skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to work effectively with C-suite executives, employees, external business partners, and senior industry leaders.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint, with basic proficiency in Excel and comfort working with reporting dashboards.
- Highly organized, proactive, and dependable, with sound judgment and the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
The Person Who Will Thrive in This Role:
You’re a team player who takes pride in getting the details right. You notice when a meeting doesn’t align with a flight itinerary, a presentation contains conflicting information, or an important attendee was left off an invitation—and you address it before anyone needs to ask.
You enjoy bringing order to complexity and can move seamlessly between managing a demanding calendar, coordinating an executive dinner, polishing a presentation, and pulling a business report.
Just as importantly, you’re curious. You want to understand why a meeting matters, what the numbers mean, and what the executives you support are trying to accomplish. That understanding allows you to anticipate needs, exercise better judgment, and become an increasingly valuable partner.
At PURE, this role offers significant exposure to senior leadership, important business initiatives, industry leaders, and a highly collaborative culture, with opportunities to grow the scope and impact of the role over time.
