Medtronic ENT is hiring an Executive Assistant (EA), for our Vice President ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) International. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our VP, our projects and initiatives aimed at improving patient care and outcomes. For this position, you can be based in Czechia, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Italy or Greece and have flexible working arrangement.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provides daily agenda, travel and general administrative support to VP
  • Provides project or program support to our LT (Leadership Team), core LT consists of 8 leaders across International and the extended LT is approximately 6 additional members
  • Monitors program/project/system status and communications, budgets and timetables 
  • Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation and administration of program/system guidelines and procedures 
  • Gathers and compiles information for reports 
  • Having computer literacy at a high level, provides technical support, which may include using internal tools and systems as well as MS Office programs 
  • Coordinates staff meetings, department and broader organizational events such as kick-off meetings 
  • Manages budget in alignment with the VP supported 
  • Manages the calendar of VP, any travel requirements and arrangements as requested. 

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role in an international environment. Any experience in the medical device industry is advantageous
  • Time management skills 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to operate in a multicultural environment within various time zones
  • Excellent computer skills.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
