Reporting to the Senior Executive Business Partner to the CFO, you’ll be part of an integrated model that gives Finance leadership balanced, consistent support. What you’ll do
- Proactively manage complex calendars across multiple time zones.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, and visas where applicable.
- Manage expense reporting and reconciliation for each executive accurately and on time, following GitLab's travel and expense policies.
- Support the Senior Executive Business Partner in coordinating Finance leadership's recurring activities, including maintaining shared Office of the CFO resources, distribution lists, Slack channels, and shared calendars.
- Help plan team events, off-sites, and large meetings with cross-functional partners and the Senior Executive Business Partner.
- Handle highly confidential financial, personnel, and material non-public information with discretion, following GitLab's insider trading and quiet period policies.

- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Navan, and related tools and processes, such as purchase orders, with the ability to learn new technical tools quickly.
- Experience working independently, moving quickly between tasks, and using sound judgment to prioritize, solve problems, and anticipate executive needs, including knowing when to escalate competing vice president priorities to the Office of the CFO.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build collaborative relationships across teams, including with other Executive Business Administrators and stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience using artificial intelligence (AI) to make day-to-day operations more efficient while protecting information and maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to work in an all-remote, distributed environment, with a willingness to help others and contribute to a positive, one-team culture.
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally, to support executives, team off-sites, and key events.
We value diverse backgrounds and transferable experience.
About the team
The Executive Business Administration function supports GitLab leaders by creating the operational foundation for effective work in an all-remote, asynchronous environment. The Office of the CFO brings the CFO's leadership team together under one operating model. Its Executive Business Administrators work as one team, using shared standards and templates, a common schedule of recurring activities, coordinated coverage, and a shared view of Finance leadership priorities. This approach helps the CFO and vice presidents receive consistent support as the organization grows.

What We Do
GitLab is the Intelligent Orchestration Platform where software teams and their AI agents stay in flow to amplify their capacity for innovation. Together, they automate repetitive tasks to plan, build, secure, test, deploy and maintain software. With GitLab, software teams spend less time on coordination overhead and more time on the next big idea. What started in 2011 as an open source project to help one team of programmers collaborate is now the intelligent orchestration platform millions of people use to deliver software faster, more efficiently, while strengthening security and compliance. Since the beginning, we've been firm believers in remote work, open source, DevSecOps, and iteration. We get up and log on in the morning to work alongside the GitLab community to deliver new innovations every month that help teams and their AI agents ship great code faster.
