Leads technical direction for GitLab Professional Services engagements from discovery and scoping through implementation and handoff. Designs GitLab architectures, deploys self-managed and cloud environments, executes source-code and CI/CD migrations, and provides DevOps and DevSecOps consulting. Coordinates customers, partners, and internal teams; creates delivery documentation, automation, training, and reusable implementation assets. The role requires strong technical communication, cloud and on-premises infrastructure experience, Terraform and Ansible expertise, migration experience, and the ability to manage complex customer projects remotely.

Leads secure enterprise architecture design and GitLab Professional Services implementations across application security, cloud security, DevSecOps, identity, vulnerability management, and compliance. Guides SaaS, Self-Managed, and Dedicated deployment decisions; leads CI/CD, source control, and security-tool migrations; conducts risk assessments and threat modeling; supports pre-sales scoping and statements of work; coordinates cross-functional delivery; mentors consultants; and develops security enablement materials.

Leads a public sector Solutions Architect team supporting strategic sales opportunities. Responsibilities include hiring, coaching, performance management, technical pre-sales, solution evaluations, account strategy, cross-functional collaboration, KPI tracking, and customer-facing solution architecture. The role combines team leadership with hands-on technical engagement to connect GitLab’s DevSecOps platform to public sector business and mission requirements.
