Make Your Mark:
This position reports directly to the Senior GVP Sales and GM Europe, who is based in Paris, France and oversees a team of circa 400 BlackLiners across 12 European countries.
This role is key to maintaining his focus on priority execution, using knowledge of the BlackLine team, business priorities and OKRs, and project management to ensure his time is spent in the most valuable way.
This BlackLiner is a lynchpin for the region, liaising with other global EAs as well as the VP International HR (based in London) and HRBP team, European Leadership team, and global sales team - so relationship building at all levels of the organisation, a high EQ/ IQ combination and the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are vital.
Prioritizing conflicting needs, proactively handling matters, demonstrating discretion and maintaining confidentiality, and following through on a variety of special requests to successful completion under deadline pressures are also essential requirements.
Day to day responsibilities include managing multiple calendars, preparing itineraries, arranging travel and managing T&E expenses, scheduling and prepping for meetings including suggesting attendees and agendas, requesting data and handling information requests, drafting reports and decks, planning offsites and supporting visiting Execs and senior leaders to Europe.
BlackLine is a dynamic, fast-paced organization and this position requires a high-energy, sleeves-rolled-up approach with flawless administrative, strong interpersonal skills and unwavering attention to detail. Ruthless prioritisation, working to deadlines, staying calm under pressure and demonstrating a good sense of humour are all essential qualities.
You'll Get To:
- Be a key part of a growing international team, under new and exciting leadership
- Help build our brand and expand the scope of the Senior GVP Sales Europe, contributing to a world-class international team
- Act as a proxy for the Senior GVP Sales EMEA in certain situations and decisions not needing their full review; ensure confidence and trust so that you can learn and act in this manner.
- Manage a variety of special projects, as directed by the Sales Leader, across departments. Provide analysis on various metrics, and insight into the workings of various projects and departments, to evaluate the efficacy of programs.
- Triage problems to reduce distractions and allow the Sales Leader to focus on what's most important to the company while also bringing pertinent issues to their attention in an organized, succinct manner.
- Partner with the executive assistant team and others to provide planning help and support with global meetings and team-building events, as needed.
What You'll Bring:
Years of Experience in Related Field: 6+ years of experience as an executive assistant or equivalent role supporting senior executives
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
A strategic mindset, drive and analytical expertise
Technical Skills:
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
- Proficiency in expense reporting systems, preferably Concur
