Job Title: Executive Assistant, 10K Projects 

A little bit about our team:

Founded in 2017 by Elliot Grainge, 10K Projects originally emerged as a leading independent label dedicated to nurturing innovative talent and delivering diverse sounds to a global audience. Based in Los Angeles and now under Atlantic Music Group, the label is known for its dynamic roster of artists, blending genres like hip-hop, pop, alt, R&B, and more.

10K Projects gained early recognition with breakout releases from artists such as Trippie Redd, who quickly climbed the charts with his unique sound. The label's commitment to artist development and creative freedom has allowed its musicians to explore their artistic visions while reaching substantial commercial success.

In addition to Trippie Redd, 10K Projects has expanded its roster to include other notable acts like Ice Spice, Artemas, and Forrest Frank each contributing to the label’s diverse sonic palette. The label's innovative marketing strategies and strong digital presence have enabled it to thrive in the rapidly evolving music landscape.

Your role:

This job plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of 10K's daily activities. This multifaceted position involves managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and facilitating communication between the presidents and various departments, artists, and external stakeholders. The assistant often handles sensitive information, requiring discretion and professionalism, while also organizing travel arrangements and preparing reports to support decision-making. Additionally, they may assist in project management, helping to oversee key initiatives and events, and ensuring that both presidents are well-prepared for engagements and deadlines. Ultimately, the executive assistant acts as a vital link, enabling the presidents to focus on strategic leadership and fostering the label’s growth in a competitive environment. 

Here you’ll get to:

  • Manage and schedule the executive's numerous day-to-day events such as- setting up conference calls, running point for in-person meetings, and handling their calendars
  • Handle the executives’ timeliness by ensuring they are timely for each call and meeting, take diligent notes in meetings, and build action item lists where needed
  • Serve as a reliable contact between internal and external partners, communicate high priorities to the executives in a timely manner
  • Prepare correspondence (memos, emails) as required; read and speak to materials and documents, recognize critical data and information, and effectively communicate vital information
  • Process and maintain T&E expenses for the executives and various 10K Projects team members as designated, via Concur
  • Uphold and conduct work within the standards and procedures of the company’s Code of Conduct and core values
  • Coordinate frequent travel for executives and artists both domestic and internationally
  • Manage and organize office supply inventory and kitchen necessities
  • Prepare necessary rooms (i.e. conference room, listening room, etc.) for meetings and guests
  • Complete ad hoc projects, as needed, for executive
  • Partner with Facilities and IT to ensure the offices of executives and Company are maintained and conference rooms are in working order
  • Arrange gifts, donations, and charitable contributions on behalf of the Company within budget and the Code of Conduct

About you:

  • Knowledge of general business practices and industry trends
  • Possess a strong and timely work ethic; excellent organization skills and focused attention to detail
  • Demonstrate innovation through thoughtful suggestions of change/improvements within the scope of work
  • Exhibit an independent work style, foresight, and initiative
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service and phone etiquette for both internal and external clients; Excellent written communication and social skills
  • Handle confidential matters appropriately and with discretion
  • Expertly collaborate and flex to all levels of the organization, high-profile individuals, clients, and vendors

We’d love it if you also had:

  • A High School Level education, or equivalent, and a bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience as an Executive Assistant, supporting at an executive level within the entertainment industry
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace
  • Knowledge of the “players” in the music industry is strongly preferred

Effective October 1st, 2023, this position will require being in the office 4 days a week.  We believe that an in-office presence is critical for talent development, collaboration and building strong relationships.

Salary Range$17.95 to $23.50 HourlySalary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
