As an Executive and Marketing Assistant, you have a unique opportunity to both support the activities of a Senior Vice President while also honing a wide-ranging marketing skillset with the global Protective and Marine Coatings business unit. The ideal candidate for this role is detail oriented with a high degree of professional polish and a background in marketing communications activities. Supporting executives, you will engage in corporate, community, and personal matters, to ensure smooth functioning of activities and processes. Supporting the marketing function, you will contribute to strategy, and implement sales enablement tools. This role will empower the right, detail-oriented candidate to accelerate their career as an overall professional and as a communicator.
Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple, complex projects with inter-related activities and relationships.

Coordinate calendar, travel, meeting, and schedule arrangements for business leader, as and other business unit events and activities including PPG executives, employees, board members and customers.

Partner with SVP and team members to assure preparedness for meetings, presentations and other external and internal engagements.

Administrative and functional activities include but are not limited to: Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments; Coordinates various complex travel itineraries (domestic and international) using commercial and corporate airlines; Prepares and sends confidential business correspondence; Maintains business documentation; Handles financial and accounting matters with confidentiality.

Draft scripts, ad copy, internal communications.

Assist with creation of sales collateral, monthly reporting and digital asset management.

Maintain content management system and update web content.

Support marketing automation and contact management activities

Drive socialization and adoption of sales enablement tools

Support Marketing Intelligence efforts: extract insights on behavior of customers acquired through field and channel marketing using analytics tools, data platforms and internal databases
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or related field. Two+ years’ experience preferred.

Experience providing administrative, or similar management support with senior leaders
-
Strong writing, editing and proof-reading skills.

Ability to work 40hrs/week with at least 3 days/week in downtown Pittsburgh

Advanced knowledge of all office products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).
