This role is responsible for working closely with leadership to execute the vision and strategy for the Global Clients both internally and externally. S/he will report directly to the global Partners and liaise with an extended network of leaders globally. This role will assist with the successful execution of Edelman’s strategic initiatives by working to optimize the Partner’s focus, time and impact. An important part of this role will be ensuring commitments made by the broader Global Clients are followed through on and executed brilliantly.
An ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent writing and verbal communication skills, excel at project management, thrive in a fast-paced work environment, show attention to detail and be able to navigate multiple timeline, projects and stakeholder groups simultaneously.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Function as the liaison between Global Client leaders and indirect teams, clients, etc.
- Attend leadership meetings and take responsibility for follow-up action
- Play a central coordination role in activities being led by the Global Clients
- Build strong internal relationships across the network
- Coordinate meetings regarding status of projects and assignments and oversee document production, as requested
- Organize in-person leadership meetings, managing agenda, content, logistics and all other aspects of the event
- Maintain calendar for appointments, visitors, key projects and follow-up tracking
- Coordinate travel arrangements, itinerary and portfolio
- Expense reports and reimbursements
- Research and compile materials needed for meetings, calls, projects, etc.
- Research, compile and present projects as requested
- Maintain client files, contact databases and records as needed
- Prepare monthly status reports, project updates and other regular reporting
- Serve as a resource to local/regional teams
- Be knowledgeable of resources/expertise in other offices and business units to facilitate connections that will improve quality and/or efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong judgment and proven history of excellent customer service, including advanced organizational skills, excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to discreetly handle confidential information
- Ability to work autonomously, efficiently, be solutions-oriented, flexible, proactive, and anticipate needs
- Strong time-management skills, with attention to detail, following through on projects and handling multiple tasks
- Strong ability to support individual executives, as well as client/practice teams with the essential ability to work collaboratively with others, at all levels
- Strong knowledge of the MS Office Suite, especially PPT
