This Executive Administrative Assistant position will be a key member of Medtronic’s Interventional Cardiology Therapies (ICT) business based out of our Mounds View, MN facility. This role provides executive administrative support to our ICT President and Leadership Team, helping ensure proactive coordination of calendars, meetings, communications, travel, and operational priorities. The position serves as a trusted partner to leadership, supporting confidential business activities, facilitating follow-through on key action items, and helping maintain strong execution across the team. 

The Executive Administrative Assistant will work closely with internal stakeholders to facilitate leadership meetings, manage documentation and reporting needs, coordinate special events, support local facility needs, and partner with the leadership team on special projects as needed. 

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties as assigned: 

  • Proactively manage complex calendars, meeting coordination, and scheduling priorities  

  • Coordinate leadership meetings, business reviews, team meetings, and cross-functional discussions, including agendas, materials, notes, room logistics, visitor needs, and follow-up 

  • Track action items, decisions, deadlines, and priorities to support leadership accountability and execution 

  • Draft, edit, and route correspondence, meeting communications, and internal updates as needed 

  • Prepare executive-ready materials, reports, trackers, and presentations using Microsoft 365 tools 

  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, expenses, and related logistics 

  • Support confidential and sensitive business matters with discretion and sound judgment 

  • Maintain organized digital filing systems, trackers, contact lists, and shared team resources 

  • Partner with leadership team and administrative colleagues to support consistent execution and communication flow 

  • Assist with special projects, team events, local facility needs, and other leadership support as assigned 

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

  • 6+ years of relevant administrative or executive support experience supporting senior leaders 

  • Experience managing complex calendars, meetings, travel, expenses, and confidential information 

  • Strong organizational, technical, communication, and influencing skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work confidently across all levels of the organization and with external business contacts 

  • Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to create meeting materials and follow up to ensure content is received on time 

  • Proven experience supporting projects and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, while handling interruptions professionally 

  • Experience working with confidential and trusted information 

  • Strong drive for results, responsiveness, self-initiative, and the ability to quickly learn and handle a wide range of projects, tasks, and issues in new and effective ways 

  • Ability to travel 3 to 4 times per year, approximately 10 to 12 days annually 

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$72,400.00 - $108,600.00


This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
