Job DescriptionTHIS ROLE
Support the preparation, review, and delivery of high-quality financial statements while providing administrative and office management support, ensuring accuracy, compliance, efficiency, and excellent client service.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- You'll prepare, format, and deliver high-quality financial statements by transferring data from Excel workbooks into Word-based reports, using advanced Microsoft Word skills and basic Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
- You'll perform detailed quality reviews of financial statements, including spelling, grammar, casting accuracy, statement tie-ins, note reconciliations, and verification of financial data against supporting documents
- You'll ensure compliance with financial reporting frameworks, regulatory requirements, internal methodologies, software standards, compliance manuals, and information security policies.
- You'll collaborate closely with Directors and Managers to meet client deadlines, support planning activities, resolve queries efficiently, maintain strong client relationships, and proactively identify opportunities to add value
- You'll manage office administration responsibilities, including receptionist, office management, and personal assistant duties, while demonstrating strong communication, multitasking, self-development, teamwork, ownership, and deadline-management skills

ABOUT YOU
- You have a Matric qualification and an administrative qualification, with strong English communication skills.
- You possess advanced Microsoft Word expertise, which is essential to the role and will be assessed during the interview process.
- You have experience in financial reporting, with a background in an accounting environment considered a strong advantage.
- You are proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and PDF software.
- You have knowledge of the financial services environment and the technical skills required to support high-quality financial reporting.
