The Role

As the EVP, Wealth Management Product and Platform, you will be a senior leader responsible for shaping and executing the strategic vision spanning investment product offerings, wealth technology platforms and advisor/client experience for individual representatives, RIA firms and Enterprises. This role ensures the company delivers a comprehensive, competitive, and scalable wealth management ecosystem. This leader partners with peers internally to deliver multi-year modern investment solutions, technology roadmaps and enterprise-level transformation initiatives that strengthen market competitiveness and power advisor and client success.

In this role, you'll get to:

Leadership & Team Oversight

  • Define and execute a long-term (3+ year) strategic roadmap for the wealth platform, investment solutions innovation, and efficiency.

  • Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, partnering on priorities, resource allocation, and organizational transformation.

  • Build, mentor and lead a high performing, future-ready organization with a culture of accountability and innovation.

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships across operations, technology, finance, compliance, marketing, and sales.

  • Lead and develop the team, including leaders and team members in client experience, investment solutions, retirement and educational savings plans, product platform and investment data analysis.

Technology & Platform Innovation

  • Lead the strategy and evolution of sub-advisory, co-advisory and enterprise tech platforms balancing efficiency, configurability and requisite investment solutions workflows.

  • Lead development and optimization of advisor and client-facing platform technology, ensuring seamless, intuitive, and modern wealth experiences.

  • Oversee product development of overlay and household management capabilities

  • Partner with Operations and Orion Advisor Technology Product and Technology teams to define and deliver multi-year technology roadmaps, system integrations, conversions, and platform upgrades.

  • Oversee solution design, business analysis, and user enablement to support high adoption of new systems and capabilities.

Investment Products and Solutions Management

  • Lead the evolution of proprietary and third-party investment solutions product suite spanning High Net Worth, multi-asset class strategies, individual asset class strategies, and alternative investment solutions.

  • Lead the productization of our research and due diligence services and evolution of our tax advantaged savings plans (401k, 403b, 529 and Able)

  • Lead design, execution, and lifecycle management of investment products, portfolio solutions, and managed account offerings.

  • Partner closely with the investment team to ensure product competitiveness, performance, and alignment with client objectives.

  • Oversee product rationalization strategies to consolidate, modernize, and simplify the product suite.

  • Manage pricing strategy for wealth solutions, balancing competitiveness, profitability, and market positioning.

Advisor and Client Experience Advocate

  • Oversee advocacy for clients and advisors, ensuring their needs drive technology, product, and operational decisions.

  • Engage directly with advisors to capture insights, test offerings, and refine experience enhancements.

  • Shape educational programs, training, and enablement to help advisors effectively use new tools and products.

  • Partner with Orion Marketing team to provide strategic guidance, acting as the subject matter expert on platform solutions and the investment solutions product suite.

Qualifications:

  • Progressive leadership in wealth management, asset management, or financial services.

  • Demonstrated experience overseeing investment solutions and/or wealth platform teams.

  • Proven track record of managing the full product lifecycle from ideation, business case development, and regulatory approval to go-to-market execution.

  • Solid understanding of financial regulations, compliance standards, and fiduciary responsibilities, including SEC and FINRA compliance.

  • Strong understanding of client experience, business analysis, and technology solution design.

  • Deep understanding of investment products, managed accounts, and wealth management ecosystems.

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with finance, billing, and FP&A teams on pricing and revenue optimization.

  • Exceptional communication, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.

Salary Range:

$222,175.00 - $366,545.00

The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
