As we expand our marketing team, we're seeking a proactive individual who can seamlessly blend hands-on execution with strategic vision. Reporting to the team lead, Marketing Manager, you'll collaborate closely with the extended marketing organization to deliver impactful events and tradeshows that drive pipeline growth. As the events & tradeshow manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Event management : We're talking about planning our presence at the event, covering logistics, promotional materials, invitation management, coordination of meetings with potential customers, follow-up strategy and much more.
- Activity performance reports: You'll be expected to produce reports on the performance of our events and campaigns, and to do the analysis and follow-up with the rest of the team to figure out which investments are yielding the best results.
- Internal comms: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders for every event, amongst them : marketing, sales, BD and leadership. Keep them informed on the plan, resources and blockers we have and ensure global alignment between teams to make your events successful.
- Budget tracking: You'll need to build your investment and ROI plan per event, track expenses, negotiate contracts and ensure timely payment of invoices with accounting.
- Research: You'll have to research the various events we should attend or sponsor, as well as other opportunities to consider, and make recommendations internally.
- Internal collaboration and coordination: You will work with our campaign managers on the communication plans around the events, as well as with content specialists and designers to ensure that we deliver our projects and campaigns on time.
Here is what will qualify you for the role:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B event management.
- Exceptional organization and deadline management skills.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative in previous roles.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Marketo, or similar CRM/marketing automation systems.
What would make you stand out:
- Degree in Marketing, Administration, or Communications.
- Comfortable leading an on-site team of up to 20 members, comprising various departments and leadership levels.
- Track record of making data-driven decisions, ans innate drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strong ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
