This role will be based in our Washington, D.C. Office. Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building. This role reports to Director of Marketing Events and Operations.
Position Summary
The Events Coordinator will work primarily with the Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia offices to assist in coordinating all aspects of client-facing and internal events, while maintaining the highest standards of client service and event execution. The Events Coordinator will be responsible for a range of duties, in addition to supporting the firmwide events team, while working collaboratively with, and as an integral part of the global marketing and business development team.
Key Responsibilities
Works with the local marketing team and events team to support attorney requests related to events
Assists in the deployment of programs and events hosted/sponsored by the firm, such as webinars, seminars and other events, including the development and production of marketing materials and on-site logistics
Staffs and supports client events
Collaborates with creative services team to create ads for charitable events; submits ads to organizations upon approval
Assists with social media images and drafting social media blurbs
Drafts event write-ups for internal and external purposes
Assists in distributing marketing materials, including name tags, signage, promotional items, etc.
Assists marketing initiatives for local practice areas, including support of client initiatives, team building and client social functions
Assists with event database management and other administrative tasks
Supports regional marketing initiatives such as shareholder practice meetings, cross-marketing meetings or other office priorities
Provides excellent client service to internal and external clients
Collaborates with marketing and other business professionals throughout the firm across functions and teams
Supports the firmwide events team, as needed
Works on other projects, as assigned

Education & Prior Experience
Bachelor’s degree is required
Minimum 1-3 years marketing experience; legal or professional services marketing experience highly preferred

Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook required
The expected pay range for this position is:
$30.96 - $36.24 per hour
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
