PeopleCert is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Events Assistant to become an integral part of our team in Business & IT. In this role, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional service, managing event logistics, and contributing to the execution of events.
As an Events Assistant you will work closely with the Senior Event Associates and Head of Events, as well as the rest of the marketing team in B&IT and our Digital Marketing team to help promote our events and support activities such as email invitations and registration lists.
Being a member of our Marketing Communications department, you will be reporting to the Head of Events, and you will have overall responsibility on the successful integration of digital and physical conferences/events into the marketing mix.
Duties and responsibilities
· Understands requirements, plans, organizes, coordinates conferences, events and webinars to maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date annual calendar
· Manages resources effectively, delegates appropriately, follows deadlines, determines details about events, keeps records and provides feedback regarding performance
· Delivers web events to promote product and business objectives, in collaboration with internal teams across PeopleCert group
· Implements conference/event concepts and strategies that ensure the best possible representation of PeopleCert to its global audiences
· Conducts continuous research on clearly identifying and segmenting events per products and audiences, worldwide, in order to maximize reach and effectiveness
· Continuously evolves and enhances the PeopleCert brands experience at conferences, events and other promotional opportunities
· Takes action to innovate and make change happen.
Minimum required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / Events Management or similar discipline (Post graduate degree will be considered as an asset)
- Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification is required, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus). Extra languages will be considered as an asset
- Minimum 1 year experience in Events Management, preferably in a fast-paced, international environment
- Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable.
- Virtual event platforms familiarization will be considered as an asset
- Excellent organizational, coordination and negotiation skills
- Very good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptive, flexible and self-driven personality with the ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, as a member of a global team
- Prioritization, project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to think ‘out of the box’ and ‘connect the dots’ to derive the bigger picture
