The Senior Vice President, Specialty Claims will provide executive leadership for the strategy, growth, and market positioning of ESIS Specialty Claims. This leader will oversee sales and marketing initiatives, strengthen client and broker relationships, and advance the business through innovative solutions that support profitable growth and long-term client value.

Reporting to the ESIS Division President, this role is preferred to be based in-office, with Philadelphia as the preferred location; other ESIS office locations may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and execute the strategic direction for ESIS ProClaim, including General Liability, Property, Professional and Management Liability, Medical Malpractice, Product Liability, and Environmental Liability.
  • Lead sales and marketing strategy to expand market presence, drive revenue growth, and support client retention.
  • Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing Specialty Sales team.
  • Partner with claims leadership to ensure delivery of exceptional claims service and client outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain a strong national market presence through strategic relationships with brokers, consultants, carriers, captives, and other key stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across program business, MGAs/MGUs, captives, risk retention groups, and wholesale and retail distribution channels.
  • Collaborate across ESIS and Chubb to promote a unified, sales-oriented culture and support enterprise objectives.
  • Advance account management and sales strategies that contribute to profitable growth and long-term client partnerships.
  • Evaluate market opportunities, including new products, service offerings, program design, pricing, and product alignment.
  • Provide executive oversight for complex prospect engagements and strategic client initiatives.
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze results, and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
  • Represent ESIS in industry forums and associations to strengthen market visibility and thought leadership.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and proactively engage on service strategy, delivery, and outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of the TPA business model.
  • 15+ years of sales leadership experience generating TPA opportunities across wholesale and retail placements, captives, risk retention groups, program business, MGAs, and MGUs.
  • Demonstrated executive presence and client orientation.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, finance, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Track record of leading national or near-national sales organizations.
  • Consistent history of delivering results against business objectives.
  • Strong business acumen with a focus on profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret and act on data.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, high-accountability environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

The pay range for the role is $172,000 to $258,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.  Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
