Job Description Summary
As a Junior Escrow Post Closing Auditor working for Inspired Title Services, a builder affiliate account to Taylor Morrison’s title company, you will have an introduction into the title industry, gaining an understanding of the responsibilities for tasks and/or functions performed and how it relates in the title process. This role may work on special projects and be given specific tasks to perform. The Junior Title Post Closing Auditor is expected to follow all policies and procedures as outlined by the company. What You’ll Do
Gain the knowledge and ability to perform escrow assistant and basic escrow officer duties
Partner with a Title Post Closing Auditor to review, verify, organize and audit closed title files to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with company and regulatory guidelines
Communicate with appropriate parties to resolve questions and concerns regarding escrow file
Learn how to review and verify documents relative to all curative matters, including satisfactions and releases
Learn how to review survey and ensure survey matters are included on title commitment/policy
Understand how to review and verify recorded documents, including notary acknowledgements, legal descriptions, and lien information
Work with accounting to balance files and ensure premium collections/remittances are correct
Prepare, distribute and collect file invoices as well as T-00 splits to appropriate parties (if applicable)
Collaborate/confirm with management to resolve open curative matters such as clouds on title, legal description discrepancies, easements, lot splits, vesting, tax liens, abstracts of judgments, bankruptcies, boundary disputes, encroachments, Lis Pendens, mortgage liens, UCC filings, etc.
Observe how to audit closed files for completeness and compliance

- Entry-level position; no experience required
- Texas applicant only: Required to have an Escrow License or must be able to obtain one within 30 days from hire date
- Must be of high integrity, technical competence and high moral character
- Strong communications skills – written, verbal, and listening
- Highly proficient level of computer skills in title production and closing software (e.g. SoftPro, Ramquest, ResWare) including spreadsheet, word processing, and power point
- Proficient in using communication tools such as phone and computer, including Microsoft Suite
- Ability to manage key timeframes and strict deadlines
- Deliver outstanding customer service through clear verbal and written communication, collaborating effectively with both internal and external customers
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.

Skills Required
- Two years of escrow experience
- Texas escrow license, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire
