Your Role: Technical Lead - Vistex IP & DMP
This position collaborates with stakeholders, architects, and delivery partners to deliver timely, compliant, and high-quality Gross-to-Net (G2N) solutions. Focusing on Pricing, Rebates, and Master Data, this role translates business needs into technical solutions and integrates Vistex (DMR-Customer, DMP, Deals, IP Rebates, Billbacks) with S/4 HANA (Condition Contract and Settlement Management).
Your Responsibilities:
- System Ownership: Oversees and maintains G2N related systems (Vistex IP, DMP, S/4 HANA Settlement Management), including release management, operational support, and process improvement. Ensures compliance with quality and regulatory requirements (GxP, SOX).
- Business Partnership: Collaborates with global business stakeholders to understand business strategies and translate them into technical requirements. Influences partner/vendor organizations on prioritization and issue resolution.
- Project Delivery: Leads G2N project delivery, including ERP/pricing interfaces with other systems (e.g., Veeva Network). Designs, implements, and tests solutions within Elanco policies, ensuring compliance and optimal SAP functionality.
- Technical Expertise: Maintains deep knowledge of DMP, Deals, IP Rebates, Billbacks in Vistex, and Settlement Management in S/4 HANA. Provides technical guidance, effort estimates, and documentation for enhancements.
- Change Management: Responsible for change communication, testing, documentation, and post-go-live support handover. Identifies and delivers knowledge transfer between process owners, business partners, and support teams.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
- Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in business management or information technology or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of SAP and Vistex configuration / design and broad related business process experience in DMR, DMP, Deals, IP Rebates and/or Billbacks.
- Deep understanding of pricing, rebates, gross-to-net, and ERP (S/4 HANA) integration, coupled with proven ability to navigate complex business, technical, regulatory, and partner landscapes.
- Combines strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to translate complex ideas into actionable solutions, comfortable working autonomously and demonstrating sound judgement in ambiguous environments.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
- Possesses global experience with a strong understanding of life sciences/pharmaceutical business processes, SOX, and GxP compliance.
- Experienced in vendor management and familiar with ITIL principles.
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, ideally with exposure to product-focused environments and modern product discovery.
- Has worked on technology products in a role such as product manager, designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher.
- Direct experience participating in new ERP implementations.
