Your Next Career Opportunity ERP Solutions Architect
Experienced ERP Solution Architect to help shape the future of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and ensure the platform delivers long-term business value. This role will serve as a strategic bridge between business objectives and technology capabilities, with responsibility for solution direction, business process alignment, roadmap planning, and cross-functional design leadership. The Architect will have the opportunity to influence a major ERP transformation, partner with leaders across Finance, Procurement, Operations, Technology, and other business functions, and help establish the future-state ERP operating model for SBA. This is a high-impact role for someone who is both business-oriented and deeply experienced in modern ERP solutions.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
Serve as the solution authority for D365 Finance & Operations and guide end-to-end solution decisions across business processes, configurations, integrations, reporting, and future roadmap capabilities.
Partner with business leaders to understand objectives, assess current-state processes, design future-state solutions, and translate business needs into scalable ERP capabilities.
Lead cross-functional solution design discussions across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Inventory, Asset Management, Projects, Operations, and related enterprise processes.
Promote standard D365 F&O capabilities and industry best practices to simplify processes, improve adoption, reduce unnecessary customization, and support long-term scalability.
Develop and maintain an ERP roadmap that balances business value, operational readiness, platform maturity, technology standards, and delivery capacity.
Collaborate closely with the ERP Technical Lead, integration teams, data teams, security, infrastructure, business stakeholders, and implementation partners to ensure solutions are business-ready and technically supportable.
Ensure ERP solutions and process decisions are adopted with appropriate consideration for security, data integrity, access management, regulatory expectations, operational resilience, and enterprise standards.
Support prioritization of enhancements, process improvements, technical debt reduction, reporting needs, and future transformation initiatives.
Facilitate workshops, design reviews, stakeholder alignment sessions, and decision forums to drive clarity and consensus across business and IT teams.
Help establish practical ERP governance, solution documentation, design principles, process ownership, and adoption practices that support continuous improvement.
What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
7+ years of ERP, business systems, solution architecture, or transformation experience, including strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience.
Deep understanding of ERP business processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Inventory, Supply Chain, Asset Management, Projects, or related enterprise functions.
Experience leading solution design, process improvement, roadmap planning, capability alignment, and cross-functional business workshops.
Strong understanding of how ERP solutions interact with integrations, data platforms, reporting, security, master data, and operational support processes.
Ability to influence stakeholders, communicate with executive audiences, manage competing priorities, and translate complex information into clear recommendations.
Experience working with implementation partners and internal teams to deliver ERP solutions in complex enterprise environments.
