The ERP Program Director is responsible for leading the enterprise transformation and implementation of Visibility.NET, replacing a legacy ERP platform that has supported the organization for more than 28 years.
This role will serve as the key leader accountable for planning, governance, stakeholder alignment, organizational change management, business process transformation, data migration, solution deployment, and realization of business value across Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Project Controls, and Information Technology.
The successful candidate will navigate complex organizational dynamics, establish alignment among executive stakeholders, and lead significant business process rearchitecture while ensuring operational continuity throughout the transformation journey.
The ERP Program Director will partner closely with executive leadership, business process owners, finance leadership, accounting teams, and technology teams to drive adoption of modern ERP practices and position the organization for future growth, scalability, and operational excellence.
Job Duties:
- Program Leadership
- Establish and lead the overall ERP modernization strategy, roadmap, governance structure, and implementation approach.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business leadership, finance, accounting, operations, IT, software vendors, implementation partners, and executive sponsors.
- Develop and manage enterprise-wide program plans, budgets, risks, dependencies, and success metrics.
- Provide executive reporting and strategic recommendations to steering committees and senior leadership.
- Ensure program delivery aligns with business objectives, financial controls, compliance requirements, and operational priorities.
- Business Process Transformation
- Lead enterprise business process reengineering efforts to align legacy workflows with modern ERP capabilities.
- Challenge historical processes and drive adoption of industry best practices rather than recreating legacy customizations.

- Establish standardized business processes and governance models to support future scalability.
- Finance & Accounting Alignment
- Build consensus among Finance, Accounting, Operations, and IT stakeholders regarding future-state business processes.
- Partner with CFO and Finance leadership to ensure:
- Financial controls
- Reporting requirements
- Cost accounting
- Project accounting
- Revenue recognition
- Audit compliance
- Regulatory requirements are effectively incorporated into solution design.
- Resolve competing priorities and conflicting requirements while maintaining focus on enterprise objectives.
- Organizational Change Management
- Develop and execute a comprehensive organizational change management strategy.
- Create stakeholder engagement, communication, and adoption plans.
- Identify organizational resistance and implement mitigation strategies.
- Establish business champions and change networks throughout the enterprise.
- Drive leadership alignment and organizational readiness throughout all phases of the implementation.
- Data Migration & System Readiness
- Lead migration planning from the legacy Visibility ERP environment to Visibility.NET.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and governance of master data and transactional data migration activities.
- Oversee testing strategies including:
- Unit Testing
- System Integration Testing
- User Acceptance Testing
- Mock Conversions
- Cutover Preparation
- Ensure business readiness prior to go-live.
- Deployment & Adoption
- Direct phased, site-based, or enterprise-wide rollout strategies.
- Ensure effective training, user enablement, and adoption planning.
- Monitor adoption metrics and business outcomes following deployment.
- Lead stabilization and continuous improvement efforts after implementation.
- Risk & Dependency Management
- Proactively identify program risks, resource constraints, organizational barriers, and execution challenges.
- Manage competing priorities between operational responsibilities and ERP implementation activities.
- Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies to maintain delivery objectives.
- Escalate critical issues with clear remediation recommendations.

- Experience implementing Visibility.NET or similar ERP platforms.

- PMP, PgMP, Prosci, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent certifications.
- Experience in publicly traded or highly regulated organizations.
- Experience overseeing global ERP implementations.
Specific Skills and Business Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years leading large-scale ERP implementations and enterprise transformation programs.
- 5+ years in program leadership, PMO leadership, or transformation leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success leading ERP modernization initiatives in manufacturing, engineer-to-order (ETO), project-based, industrial, EPC, aerospace, defense, or complex operational environments.
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar enterprise software implementations.
