The role:
As an ERP Analyst you will help drive our goals by:
Stakeholder engagement & Partnership
- Working together with JM Internal Staff and outsourced teams to deliver exceptional ERP services that meet business needs and are compliant to JM policies and framework.
- Executing routinely checks of external team deliverables to make sure that those are in line with JM standards.
- Lead and provide support to the application management teams in solving incidents and problems.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and being responsible for translating business requirements into functional specifications for the ERP application.
- Working with system end-user and SMEs from different functions to understand needs, challenges & objectives.
- Support project deployments as well as continuous improvement activities by providing governance and support in technical solution design and systems’ configuration of the applications within area of responsibilities.
- Work with the change and release teams to ensure that systems and solutions are deployed effectively.
- Ensure focus on process optimization: map ‘as-is’ processes, identify waste and bottlenecks and deliver ‘to-be’ designs aligned to business value.
Operational Excellence & Technical Capability
- Lead on incident and request management: Triage, diagnose and resolve iSeries/ERP issues within agreed SLAs; manage service requests, small changes and data fixes.
- Focus on root cause and prevention: Conduct RCA, implement corrective actions and maintain a known-error database to reduce repeat issues.
- Provide user support covering functional guidance, ‘how-to’ support, training for end users and super users; produce clear knowledge articles.
- Deliver configuration and master data activities: execute approved functional configuration and master data maintenance; uphold data quality and controls.
- Adhere to environment and release processes: coordinate with technical teams on package builds, transports and environment refreshes; support patching and regression testing.
- Carry out monitoring of JDE interfaces (e.g., EDI, finance feeds, WMS/MES), resolve failures and collaborate with integration teams.
- Ensure compliance to IT controls by following change control, ITGC and audit requirements; maintain documentation and traceability.
- Manage vendor and third-party coordination covering tickets and escalations with partners, track fixes and liaison across JMIT teams.
- Lead on risk and security by identifying operational risks, maintaining segregation of duties and supporting access governance (roles/security).
- Improve data quality, reconciliation and analytics; design reports and KPIs that support decision-making.
- Develop automation (e.g., batch scheduling, data loads, reports), dashboards and self-service to reduce manual effort.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required access reports, logs and evidence and contribute to remediation activities for audit findings.
Innovation & Knowledge Sharing
- Continuously improve ERP processes and systems by identifying and implementing efficiencies and better ways of working.
- Responsible for supporting other platform teams and JM business stakeholders on achieving and upholding industry best practices.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- ERP Functional Expertise in at least one major domain (e.g., Finance (GL/AP/AR/FA), Distribution/Procurement, Sales/Inventory, Manufacturing/Shop Floor/Costing); ability to troubleshoot cross-module impacts
- Previous experience of working with BAU Support teams
- iSeries Programming and Functionality with multiple versions of RPG Programming Language
- Configuration & Testing: hands-on experience with JDE functional config, data validation, test planning and defect management
- Data & Reporting: comfort with reporting tools (JDE Fastr/WorldWriter), reconciliations and data quality controls
- Working in Complex and International Teams
- Initiating Action & great communicator
