About This Opportunity
Ericsson is looking for an experienced and customer-focused VAS Operations & Support Engineer to provide 24x7 Operations and Maintenance (O&M), troubleshooting, defect management, testing, and deployment support for Value-Added Services (VAS) platforms and applications.
What You Will Do
Provide 24x7 O&M support for critical incidents and production issues, including rotational day and night shifts.
Monitor applications, services, system health, and operational dashboards; perform regular health checks.
Handle incidents and service requests in accordance with defined SLAs.
Troubleshoot application, system, database, and integration-related issues using logs, traces, and monitoring tools.
Identify, analyse, reproduce, test, and deploy defects across LAB and Production environments.
Simulate test scenarios, perform load testing, and analyse performance-related issues.
Prepare TOLs, defect reports, operational reports, and troubleshooting documentation.
Technical Skills
Good understanding of the VAS domain and associated products.
Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, Python, and Java.
Experience with SOAP, REST, Git, and CI/CD processes.
Experience with JIRA, Splunk, AppDynamics, JMeter, and SQL Developer.
Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and microservice application management.
Ability to analyse Wireshark traces, application logs, and Java heap dumps.
Experience in defect handling, reproduction, testing, load testing, hot-fix validation, and production deployment.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
4-15 years of experience in VAS Operations, Application Support, Troubleshooting, Defect Management, Testing, and Deployment.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of Ericsson ECM and telecom product catalogue concepts
- Hands-on experience with Product Offers, Product Specifications, CFSS, RFSS, Product Offering Prices, Charge Types, CCS Offer Templates, and Code Tables
- Experience with ACLT and TM Forum Open APIs
- Understanding of ECM database schemas, entity relationships, dependencies, and data quality
- Strong SQL skills for validation, troubleshooting, and data analysis
- Experience analyzing application, integration, and transaction logs
- Knowledge of catalogue integration with charging, billing, CRM, order management, and fulfilment platforms
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, XML, Postman, and Swagger
- Relevant experience in Ericsson ECM, telecom catalogue management, BSS/OSS, catalogue configuration, integration testing, data validation, and production support
- Telecom BSS/OSS experience, preferably in production support
- Knowledge of TM Forum Information Framework and Open Digital Architecture
- Understanding of charging, rating, billing, order management, and provisioning processes
- Experience with incident, problem, change, and release management
- Agile experience with Jira and Confluence
