Batterjee Medical College is seeking a qualified and responsible First Aid Clinic Specialist to provide immediate medical assistance, basic clinical care, and emergency response services to students, employees, and visitors.

The role is responsible for ensuring the readiness and effective operation of the First Aid Clinic, responding to medical incidents across campus, providing appropriate first aid and basic treatment, and coordinating emergency referrals and transfers when required.

Key Responsibilities
First Aid & Emergency Response
  • Provide immediate first aid for injuries, illnesses, and medical emergencies.
  • Assess patient conditions and determine the appropriate course of action.
  • Stabilize patients until further medical care is available.
  • Respond promptly to medical incidents occurring across campus.
  • Coordinate emergency transfers to hospitals or emergency medical services when required.
Clinic Operations & Patient Care
  • Manage the day-to-day operation and readiness of the First Aid Clinic.
  • Ensure treatment areas are clean, organized, properly equipped, and ready for use.
  • Provide basic medical care, including wound cleaning and dressing, minor injury treatment, vital-sign monitoring, and support for minor illnesses.
  • Provide professional and compassionate assistance to students, employees, and visitors requiring medical attention.
Medical Records & Confidentiality
  • Maintain accurate records of patient visits, treatments, incidents, and emergency cases.
  • Document and report medical incidents appropriately.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and medical information.
  • Ensure records are maintained in accordance with institutional and healthcare requirements.
Emergency Preparedness & Medical Supplies
  • Ensure emergency medical supplies and equipment are available and ready for use.
  • Regularly inspect and restock first aid kits across campus.
  • Monitor first aid supplies, medical equipment, and emergency kits.
  • Check expiry dates and ensure all medical supplies remain suitable for use.
  • Support emergency response planning, preparedness activities, and drills.
Health, Hygiene & Infection Control
  • Maintain appropriate hygiene and infection-control standards within the clinic.
  • Ensure proper disposal of medical waste.
  • Follow infection prevention, medical, and safety protocols.
  • Provide basic health and hygiene guidance when required.
  • Support first aid and emergency-response awareness sessions for students and employees.
External Medical Coordination
  • Coordinate with hospitals, ambulance services, and healthcare providers when required.
  • Facilitate referrals and emergency transfers.
  • Maintain effective communication with relevant internal teams during medical incidents.
  • Support continuous improvement of clinic operations and emergency response processes.


Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Nursing, Paramedics, or a related medical field.
  • Valid certification in First Aid, CPR, and Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant clinical, first aid, or emergency-response experience.
  • Strong emergency-response and first aid skills.
  • Good basic clinical knowledge and patient-care skills.
  • Ability to assess situations and make timely decisions during emergencies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations.
  • High attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Professionalism, empathy, and commitment to patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Basic communication skills in Arabic and English.


  • Skills Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent recognized nursing qualification
    • Valid professional classification and registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
    • Valid BLS certification
    • Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience
    • Additional emergency-care certifications such as ACLS
    • Previous experience in an Emergency Department, ER clinic, urgent care, outpatient clinic, or similar healthcare setting
    • Experience responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate nursing interventions
    • Proficiency in Arabic and English
