Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC
Play a critical role in the installation, functionality, and maintenance of the equipment toolset used at Micron, including all the hardware and software in the toolset, as well as the interface to any other systems that the tool must connect to for its proper operation. Responsible for maintaining the tool performance as measured by availability to production and primary quality metrics. Utilize data analysis to drive the priority equipment engineering within the area. Ensure safety and quality are primary characteristics of the work being performed. Complete the required safety training and conducting all work in accordance with safety policies and laws. Follow up and look out for related issues immediately and working towards resolution with partners. Perform and facilitate audits and submit good catches on safety issues to proactively reduce incidents of personal injuries, safety hazards or environmental impact. Operate and maintain tools according to documentation and guidelines to ensure safety and quality expectations are met. Collaborate with all areas and work functions. Partner with suppliers, process owners and Shift Engineers/Technicians to execute daily activities and extraordinary activities that include issues that could cause yield loss, excursions, defects, tool restrictions, or output loss. Analyze data to make critical decisions and drive cost reduction activities. Provide troubleshooting support for complex problems and addressing root causes Serve as a key area resource for technical support and/or providing required technical resources to support TD requirements. Identify and develop a strategy for each workstation that will streamline PM frequencies. Partnering with HVM sites to identify gaps and opportunities for workstation efficiencies, such as reviewing SPC, ETI, and Y3 to identify PM frequency optimization opportunities. Maintain tool matching and drive machine hardware and s/w consistency. Handle all inventory lists and levels to ensure we have the parts for planned and unplanned maintenance events. Provide effective and timely guidance to resolve equipment issues and is highly engaged in key problem resolution. Partner with equipment owners to develop, prioritize, and run projects Track actions and provide solution paths or resources to ensure actions will be completed on time will be required to be successful at project management.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires:
1. Process area equipment knowledge;
2. DRAM development and manufacturing experience;
3. Automation skills requiring coding/machine learning/JMP Scripting;
4. Process flow related to area equipment and SPC principles; and
5. Physics, area chemistry, and semiconductor equipment concepts.
