The Role

Position Summary

The EPMO Summer Intern will support the Enterprise Project Management Office by assisting with project intake, project coordination, and entry-level business analysis activities. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in Business Analysis, Project Management, or IT project delivery. The intern will gain hands-on experience working with active projects, project intake requests, and governance processes while collaborating with project managers, business and technical teams across CoServ.

Primary Responsibilities

Project Intake & Governance Support

  • Assist with project intake requests, including gathering initial information and organizing documentation.
  • Support intake review meetings by preparing materials, capturing notes, and tracking follow-ups.
  • Maintain intake logs, dashboards, and status tracking tools.

Project Support & Coordination

  • Assist Project Managers with project documentation, schedules, and status reports.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting notes and action items.
  • Support risk, issue, and dependency tracking.
  • Maintain organized project repositories following EPMO standards.

Entry-Level Business Analysis Activities

  • Assist with gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings to understand business processes and needs.
  • Help document current-state and future-state processes.

General EPMO Support

  • Learn and apply EPMO standards, templates, and tools.
  • Assist with reporting, analysis, and special projects as needed.
  • Collaborate with EPMO team members on continuous improvement initiatives.

Learning & Development Opportunities

  • Exposure to enterprise Project Management and Business Analysis practices.
  • Hands-on experience with project intake, governance, and delivery processes.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional IT and business teams.
  • Development of professional communication and documentation skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and within a team.
